Learn to make Afternoon Cream Tea including a short talk about the history behind the tradition. At the end of the session you will enjoy the Tea including a selection of fine teas, and a glass of sparkling wine (optional).
Recipes will include: Victoria sandwich or lemon drizzle cake, home-made scones and raspberry conserve, clotted cream and a selection of finger sandwiches.
Weather permitting in May and July, we can have our Afternoon Cream Tea outside, in the lovely grounds of Stoke Lodge.

Tutor – Denise Glanvill
I am a trained chef and I have taught British and French Cookery to a wide range of students. I have also been a trainer for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health for over twenty years, specialising in Food Safety and Nutrition.
I was educated in the USA and the UK, and I hold advanced qualifications in Food Safety and a Bsc (hons) in Food, Nutrition and Health. I am extremely interested in all aspects of food and also health policy.
My classes are relaxed and enjoyable – so come along to learn some great skills in a fun environment!
