Maths Café 2 is your chance to look at some fun maths topics and their applications. You will think, discuss, argue, and experiment. We will look at algorithms, how to send pictures back from Pluto and why a doughnut is like a coffee cup. We will look at magic squares, how to win a zero-sum game and why you only need 4 crayons to colour a map. We will look at casting-outnines, how to solve logic puzzles, why a piano doesn’t sound like a guitar and much more.
This course is not like school maths. There will be no fractions, percentages, algebra or trigonometry. This course will not help you pass the GCSE. This course is fun! You do not need to know any maths to take this course
