From the silent era to 1950s, this course will look at some of Italy’s spectacular epics, its stars, melodrama, comedy and post war neorealism. The course will include films by Giovanni Pastroni, Alessandro Blasetti, Roberto Rossellini, Luchino Visconti and Vittorio De Sica.
