Take an armchair journey around some of the lesser known but great gardens of the UK. We will look at examples from the North, the South, the East and the West of England, together with Scotland, Ireland and Wales. From cottages to castles, we will consider how and why the gardens were made, who made them, and why you might want to visit them.

Tutor – Sue Oakey
In 2003 I decided to change direction from television into horticulture.
I studied for qualifications with the RHS and Cannington College, followed by a hands-on apprenticeship in practical gardening with the WRAGS scheme.
I then developed my own gardening and garden design business. I mix gardening, design, writing and lecturing, and enjoy inspiring people to love their gardens.
