Subject – Italian
I am Swiss, more specifically from the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland (“Ticino”).
I’ve always been very passionate about languages, maybe because I grew up in a multilingual country. This led me to study different languages (French, English, Spanish and German) and to complete a Bachelor and Master degrees in the translation field as well as a qualification in the educational sector (Award in Education and Training).
I now work as a freelance translator and as an Italian tutor, and I’m happy to share with others my love for languages and above all for my mother tongue, Italian.
Having been a student of a foreign language myself, I know what difficulties learners might encounter and I always take this into consideration. Moreover, I try to make my classes as diversified as possible, not focusing only on grammar but also including linguistic anecdotes and cultural elements that often shape a language.
