Garden Murals, Online Art Exhibition, Gelli Taster and save the date – BS9 Arts Trail…
Hello Everyone. Some exciting updates to share…Garden murals, Online Art Exhibition, Gelli Taster Workshops and the BS9 Arts Trail…
Stoke Lodge Garden Mural Design – we want your vote!
Our gardener James was keen to do something creative with the blocked off archway in the garden here at Stoke Lodge. He suggested asking a local artist to design a picture to be painted in the space.
James asked 4 local artists if they would like to submit a basic design for the space, we paid each artist a small sum to come up with a rough sketch and told them we wanted to put the final decision on which design to choose to you, our learners and our local community.
We want you to choose the option that you would like to see in the space.
We will add up the results and commission the artist to create their design in the space.
Please remember we asked all the artists to do just a basic rough sketch in black and white so the final piece may be a bit different.
You can see the 4 designs in the foyer and vote with pen and paper here at Stoke Lodge or you can go to our online vote by following this link.
Voting will close in just over 2 weeks on 17th May

Stoke Lodge Summer Exhibition – Online Gallery
We have created a digital version of the fantastic Summer Exhibition 2026 here at Stoke Lodge.
We last did this in 2020 when we were in lockdown and no one could come to Stoke Lodge to see a real display. This time it’s ‘in addition’ to the real thing and we think it looks great!
Its not quite the same as seeing the work in person so please do pop in if you have time but if you can’t get to us or if you want to share with friends and family who aren’t local please visit our online gallery.
We are, once again, completely blown away by the quality of the pieces on display and the talent and skills of our learners.
We’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our learners for allowing us to share and enjoy your creations.
Stoke Lodge always looks its best when filled to the brim with an array of varied and inspiring artwork.
