Acrylic Painting

Acrylic painting is a flexible and accessible art form that uses fast‑drying, water‑based paint made from pigment and acrylic polymer. Once dry, the paint becomes permanent and waterproof, allowing artists to layer confidently, apply transparent washes similar to watercolour, or build bold, textured surfaces like oil paint. Because acrylics dry much faster than oils, learners can work quickly, correct mistakes easily, and develop rich layers without long waiting times. Acrylic paint can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including canvas, paper, wood, and fabric, making it ideal for experimentation and mixed media work.
