Cookery & Wine Appreciation

We are delighted to be able to offer a exciting new range of courses from our newly refurbished Stoke Lodge Kitchen. Some of our courses are a mixture of hands on an demonstration and some are fully hands on.  Groups are small (we are a beautiful but compact space!)

If you’d rather explore the world of wine than food, or want to know the best wine option to match your new cooking skills our wine appreciation classes are perfect.

Middle Eastern Mezze

A course consisting of demonstration and hands on practice to create tasty little dishes for sharing. Some examples of dishes we will make are Hummus with sumac, roasted beetroot with za’atar, lamb kefte. This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge

Breads – Savoury and Sweet

A course consisting of demonstration and hands on practice to create sweet and savoury breads such as flatbreads, pitta bread, savoury and spicy corn and chilli muffins, a sweet treat and a healthy loaf. This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge

Pastry – Savoury and Sweet

A course consisting of demonstration and hands on practice to create a range of sweet and savoury pastry dishes, such as tart tatin, goats cheese tartlets, profiteroles with chocolate fudge sauce. This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge
