We are delighted to be able to offer a exciting range of courses from our Stoke Lodge Kitchen. Some of our courses are a mixture of hands on an demonstration and some are fully hands on.  Groups are small (we are a beautiful but compact space!)

Italian cookery:  Arancini

Arancini are Italian rice balls that are stuffed with a savoury filling, coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried. The most common arancini fillings are: al ragù or al sugo, filled with ragù, mozzarella or caciocavallo cheese, and al burro, filled with ham and mozzarella or bechamel sauce.

A number of regional variants exist, differing in their fillings and shape. Arancini al ragù from eastern Sicily have a conical shape, inspired by the volcano Etna.

Please bring containers to take your dishes home.

Italian cookery:  Pizza and Tiramisù

From the best pizza dough to secret techniques for making pizza, you will learn how to knead and roll out the perfect and traditional pizza. We will also make tiramisù, one of the most famous Italian desserts. Please bring containers to take your dishes home.
