Body and Mind Awareness / Developing Inner Resilience
How can we positively influence our wellbeing?
The body and mind are inextricably linked. In order to feel good, it’s important to address both. We will apply gentle exercises, mindfulness and meditation to help us relax in mind and body; strengthening, stretching and developing our inner resilience.

NEW Mindful Living
Learn Mindfulness techniques and meditation practices as a way to naturally enhance the enjoyment of your life. Participants will receive notes and MP3 recordings by email after the session in order to maintain the practice at home.

Tai Chi for Health
For those new to Tai Chi or wanting to understand the basics of in this fascinating gentle form of exercise, we will learn sets 1-15 of the Chen Style Form, exploring health, strength and balance through good body alignment, relaxation and breathing. Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes or trainers.

NEW Lunchtime Desk Workout
More of us are spending more time at our desks, using the computer. And even when the pandemic ends, more of us will continue to work from home. This short online weekly session will encourage us to adopt a better sitting posture, teach exercises that loosen joints, release tension and stretch. Some breathing and mindfulness to help us connect with our inner strength. Maybe even some desk dancing!

Intermediate Tai Chi
If you have done some tai chi before and understand the basic principles, this class is for you. We will learn sets 1-28 of the Chen Style Form, focusing on body alignment, relaxation, breathing, and whole body movements. Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes.
