NEW Body And Mind Awareness For Better Health. Taster

Body-mind awareness is the first step towards positive change. Find out if body-mind awareness is for you! You will hear a little bit about body-mind awareness and learn some simple exercises.

NEW Body And Mind Awareness For Better Health

Body-mind awareness is the first step towards positive change. The goal of body-mind techniques is to regulate our stress response system and improve health. In this course we learn by our own experience the art of inhabiting our body through gentle physical exercises and visualizations, including a practical understanding of our anatomy. At the end of each session we will integrate meditation techniques to find more peace within our minds.

Intermediate Tai Chi

If you have done some tai chi before and understand the basic principles, this class is for you.  We will learn sets 1-28 of the Chen Style Form, focusing on body alignment, relaxation, breathing, and whole-body movements. Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes.

Tai Chi For Health

For those new to Tai Chi or wanting to understand the basics of in this fascinating gentle form of exercise, we will learn sets 1-15 of the Chen Style Form, exploring health, strength and balance through good body alignment, relaxation and breathing.  Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes or trainers.
